Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions have been drafted by the DWT Team. We ask all of our clients to read all of the terms and conditions. By paying for services provided by David Watson Tennis, you agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions detailed below.

Please note that it is the DWT Team policy that no refunds are provided. Refunds will only be provided in exceptional circumstances and/or at our full discretion. 

1. Group sessions

1.1 Full payment for the term must be made within 48 hours before your booking in order to secure the session. If payment is not made within this time-frame, your booking will not be processed and your attendance may be declined.

1.2 Payment for the full term is required and will not be offered at a discounted rate, regardless of week of commencement during the term. 

1.3 Service type cannot be changed during your existing booking. You must wait until the end of your current session before you join another service type. 

1.4 Group session bookings will automatically be renewed for the following term. Should you wish to stop group sessions, please inform a member of the DWT Team via email no later than 14 days before the end of your existing booking. 

1.5 In the event that a session is cancelled by a member of the DWT Team, we will offer an alternative time slot for the session to take place. 

1.6 Trial sessions must be booked at least 24 hours prior to the start of the session. Failure to do so may result in your child not being able to participate on the day. 

2. School Sessions

2.1 Full payment for the term must be made within 48 hours before your booking in order to secure the session. If payment is not made within this time-frame, your booking will not be processed and your attendance may be declined.

2.2 Payment for the full term is required and will not be offered at a discounted rate, regardless of week of commencement during the term. 

3. Private Sessions

3.1 Full payment for the session/block of sessions must be made within 48 hours before your booking in order to secure the session. If payment is not made within this time-frame, your booking will not be processed and your attendance may be declined.

3.2 A 24-hour cancellation period applies to all private session bookings. If a cancellation is made within this time frame, the full fee will still be charged and the session will not be rescheduled. Should you cancel outside this time frame, the DWT Team will endeavour to reschedule your session within the next 7 days to a time that suits both parties. 

3.3 Vouchers for private sessions are only valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. 

4. Holiday Camps

4.1 Full payment for the term must be made within 1 week before your booking in order to secure the session. If payment is not made within this time-frame, your booking will not be processed and your attendance may be declined.

4.2 A 7-day cancellation period will apply to all bookings. If a cancellation is made within this time frame, the full fee will still be charged and we do not guarantee that a replacement session can be offered. Should you cancel outside this time frame, the DWT Team will endeavour to reschedule your booking to another camp date, subject to availability. 

4.3 We reserve the right to fill your place on camp on the day if you are more than 30 minutes late to a session and have not notified one of the DWT Team of your delay. 

4.4 In the event that a session is cancelled by a member of the DWT Team, we will offer an alternative time slot for the session to take place. 

5. Photo Consent

5.1 Occassionally we take photographs or videos during a session which may be used on DWT social media. If you wish for you/your child not to be included in the photographs/videos, please inform one of the DWT Team.

6. DWT updates and special offers

6.1 Occassionally you will receive booking forms, special offers and updates via your registered email address. If you wish to not receive these please inform one of the DWT Team. 

7. Weather

7.1 Sessions will take place regardless of weather conditions. Breaks taken during a session will be at the full discretion of the DWT Team. The Team may decide to run a theory session indoors which will focus on the rules, tactics and history of the sport. 

8. Client behaviour

8.1 Any poor behaviour/verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated by the DWT Team under any circumstances. All clients responsible will be asked to leave the premises and any involvement with the club will be terminated. The position regarding outstanding sessions will be decided by the DWT Team on a case by case basis. 

9. Liabilities 

9.1 The DWT Team are responsible for the safety of the client within the boundaries of the Epping Tennis Clubhouse and the tennis courts. 

9.2 David Watson Tennis is not responsible for any lost or damaged items
